Nurma Fitrianingrum is a good governance project officer at the Tifa Foundation in Indonesia, established in 2000 with a vision to realize an open society in the post-dictatorship era. Previously, she worked as a researcher and policy analyst in the Department of Public Policy and Management at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. There, she started the podcast series “Policy Talk” as a new approach to bring discussions of the latest public policy issues to wider audiences outside of academia. Nurma also worked as a researcher at the Institute for Research and Empowerment (IRE) in Yogyakarta, where she focused on village development and women’s empowerment in various regions across Indonesia. She holds a master’s degree in public policy with a specialization in media and communications from Central European University, where she worked as a student researcher at the Center for Media, Data and Society.
