Steve Swanson

Steve Swanson is a senior lecturer in sport management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University in Australia. Previously the director of sport business and leadership at Loughborough University London in the UK, Dr Swanson’s research focuses on leadership, innovation, and well-being in the sport environment. He regularly publishes in the top international sport management journals and is a member of several sport management associations throughout the world. As the lead researcher on multiple international projects, his work has been funded by prestigious organizations such as the British Academy and the Olympic Studies Centre.
